NATURE OF DANGER	Highly flammable (Flash point below 23°C) Volatile The vapour is invisible, heavier than air and spreads along the ground Can form explosive mixture with air particularly in empty uncleaned receptacles Heating will cause pressure rise, severe risk of bursting and explosion The vapour may have narcotic effect The liquid or vapour may cause irritation to eyes, skin and air passages
PERSONAL PROTECTION	Goggles giving complete protection to the eyes. Plastic or synthetic rubber gloves, boots. Eyewash bottle with clean water.
GENERAL ACTIONS to be taken by DRIVER	Stop the engine. No naked lights. No smoking. Mark roads and warn other road users and pedestrians of danger. Keep public away from danger area. Keep upwind. Notify police and fire brigade as soon as possible.
ADDITIONAL ACTIONS to be taken by DRIVER	Shut off leaks if without risk. Absorb or contain leaking liquid with sand or earth or other suitable material. Prevent liquid entering sewers, basements and workpits. Vapour may create explosive atmosphere. Sewers must be covered and basements and workpits evacuated. Warn inhabitants - explosion hazard. If substance has entered a water course or sewer or contaminated soil or vegetation advise police.
FIRE	Minor vehicle fire can be tackled using extinguishers supplied if without risk. Do not attempt to deal with any fire involving the load.
FIRST AID	If substance has got into eyes, immediately wash out with plenty of water. Remove contaminated clothing immediately and wash affected skin with plenty of water. Seek medical treatment when any one has symptoms apparently due to inhalation, swallowing, contact with skin or eyes or inhalation of fumes produced in a fire.
