The Hazardous Waste Regulations 2005, in line with other recent Environment Agency documents, are placing the emphasis on Waste Producers to classify their waste correctly.

• We will therefore need enhanced documentation and booking in procedures for wastes we are to accept.

• Therefore, we are to issue every waste we accept a unique reference (Chemical Recoveries Waste Acceptance Form number)

• From early July 2005 these will be automatically generated for most existing waste streams we have had in the past - after that every new waste stream will require a CRWAF

• Note: the CRWAF will require no more information than needed on a consignment note.

• We intend to incorporate a lower fee structure for customers who complete all documentation prior to booking (CRWAF).
