Waste Producers -  How to obtain a Consignor Return and Premises Producer Code?

Quarterly Returns to Waste Producers

We have a statutory duty to make at the latest Quarterly Returns to waste producers as to what wastes we have accepted and further what we do with such wastes.

We have been one of the pioneers of environmental reporting and have for over 8 years published data as to what we accept in, what we do with the waste and the fate of the material be it for recovery or disposal - more information on Environmental Reporting

In order to access your consignor returns, register with us and log in to see the reports.

If you are not registered you will need a consignment note number from one of the wastes you have consigned to us and then logon here.

if you have already registered then view your reports here

How does a Premises get registered as a Hazardous Waste Producer or find out if they are exempt?

Hazardous waste producers need to pre-register with the Environment Agency (EA). The registration process for a Hazardous Waste Producer is quite simple
  • the easiest and lowest cost way is to do this online for £18 via the Environment Agency at www.environment-agency.gov.uk/newrulesonwaste or
  • by Telephone registration (9-5pm Mon-Fri - registration number provided instantly when you pay by credit/debit card only.) The charge for this will be £23 per premises registered. Telephone EA on 08708 502858 or
  • We can arrange to do it for you if you are unsure for a fee of £ 35.75 (incl vat). Ring on 01179 820303
  • Please note that we cannot collect or accept your hazardous waste until you (or your broker if you use them) have provided us with your registration number (supplied to you by the Environment Agency or us if we have got it on your behalf), or confirmation that you are exempt. So please fax or email your premises code to us before then if we have not got the premises code on your behalf
